Approximately 50,000 wild horses/burros presently suffer in costly warehouses BLM calls Long Term Holding (LTH), Short Term Holding (STH) and many horses are sentenced to be "gentled" in human prisons and live their days incarcerated with convicted criminals. Our wild horses do not belong behind bars, they are sacred and deserve to be returned to their rightful place, freedom. Freedom for our wild horses costs, the American people nothing, comparatively BLM's mass and inhumane removal of our wild horses/burros and warehousing, cost tax payers upward of 100 million dolars annually and cost our wild horses and burros a trail of blood, sweat and tears, many do not survive.
Most Americans are unaware wild horses are left in the wild and if most Americans were aware, they would not agree to have their tax dollars to remove them and especially not to satiate toxic corporate take over, in excess occupation and consumption of wild horse, burro and our public land and water. (ie: Welfare cattle (approx. 300 to 1 wild horse/burro) , oil, gas, fracking/mining and thermal exploration projects)
Under 15,000 wild horses and burros exist in the wild, upon 53 million acres of federally protected wild horse & burro land/water and the Bureau of land Management aims to remove approx. 8,000 more.
Calling to remove corruption/conflict of interest/bias from wild horse and burro and our land and water's management...not wild horses or burros.
Stop BLM's wild horse and burro roundups and removals
Return our wild horses and burros to freedom, their rightful place
Remove "resource" private corporations and projects from our public land/water,not wild horses or burros
Remove from BLM's wild horse advisory board and contractor employ : Pro horse slaughter representatives
Sustain our land and water's wellness and health in true protection
